A conversation with a four-year old

May 2, 2018

My four year old grand niece told me something she’d dreamt of the other night, while I was visiting their house.

“I had a dream last night, grand aunt.” She popped in my room, wearing a space robot T-shirt.

“What did you dream of?” I quized with a grin.

“I took a spaceship and went to the Mars,” She said.

“Did you drive the spaceship by yourself?” I asked, raising my eyebrow.

“No, someone else drove it, and it was a spaceship #11. I took spaceship #11.”

“That really is a very sweet dream,’ I said. “Do you dream every night?”

“Yes!”

“Do you remember the details ot it when you wake up?” I asked.

“Yes!”

“What do you want to do when you grow up?” I carried on asking, showing more curiosity.

“I want to become a painter,” She replied.

“What else do you want to do?”

“I also want to become an astronaut!” She exclaimed.

Oh my.
